Great Gift for the Cook in your family starting at $20

No joke, this gift is so sweet. It is called a Tastebook and is offered by Food Network. This is the website http://www.tastebook.com/

I prepared a 100 page recipe book for my cooking partner at Christmas for under $55 including shipping. Using this website, you can pick from a large number of recipes already available or add your own recipes.

When you do add your own recipes you are also able to add any pictures that you want! So I was able to add pictures of myself and my cooking buddy making the actual dishes! I also added some photos of his friends and the jalapeno pepper plant, just for some spice.

Adding the recipes was surprising easy, especially if you already have them typed out in a Word document so that you can simply cut and paste.

There is also a dedication page to open the cookbook on a personal note.

I would highly recommend this gift for mothers, fathers, girl-friends, boy-friends, anyone in the family that is a cook. You can personalize the recipes to coincide with any type of diet or delight. In fact, there were so many recipes that included green beans that you could probably make an entire book just with that! (not that you necessarily would, but I am just saying).

You also have your own account with Tastebook, so once you put the recipes in your file they will stay there for any future needs.

If you are looking for a gift that says "I put a lot of thought into this" with only putting in the time and effort that you desire, this may be the gift you are looking for!

  1. Don't forget that you can purchase additional individual pages if you want to change or add a recipe! I know I like my tastebook...
